How it works

Routine peptide purity and identity use HPLC retention time and UV against a reference. LC-MS identity and peptide mapping are separate tests with their own scope. Acetic acid content is measured to USP <503>.

Tests offered

Acetic acid in peptides (USP <503>)

Measures acetic acid in peptide preparations by the procedures USP <503> provides. The chapter notes that acetic acid or acetate is a common counter ion in peptide preparations. Tell us the monograph or specification that sets the limit.

Sending samples

Send the material or product sealed and labeled, with its storage conditions.

Tell us the monograph or specification, the tests you need and the number of samples. We work to the current official USP-NF unless you name another applicable edition, and confirm the sample amount at quote.
