Purity alone doesn’t expose fillers or underdosing. Level 2 combines PQ testing with endotoxin and bioburden screening. It requires 3 vials and costs $550 per sample.
Level 3 includes every Level 2 test plus heavy metals testing. It requires 4 vials and costs $700 per sample. USP 71 sterility and BAC Water testing remain optional add-ons.

Heavy Metals screening includes Arsenic, Cadmium, Chromium, Mercury and Lead. Vanguard uses an ICP-MS to screen for heavy metals contamination. This panel is a 3-5 day turnaround.
Endotoxin testing is done following USP <85> Methodology. Endotoxin is a 3-5 day turnaround time.
Vanguard is able to do both USP <61> (Nonsterile Microbial Enumeration) as well as USP <71> (Sterility Test). For lyophilized products, we recommend the USP <71> screening. This test is a 15 day minimum turnaround time.
